First Snow

It was the first snow of the winter. It was also the first time my granddaughter ever saw snow. I loved the tender moment shared by father and child as my son-in-law explained what had happened to the world outside.

I learned how distinctive a person's back view can be. You really don't need the face to identify someone!

Acrylic, 2011, 24x18 ins. Because of the personal content of the painting it is not for sale.
